"Yurari" "Murayu" Transportation Information

*As of November 18, 2020, National Route 252 (Niigata/Uonuma) is closed to Fukushima Prefecture (Tadami / Tagokura) during the winter.
　Please note that the road will be closed until around Golden Week 2020.
　If you come by car, please use the signboard as a landmark.

  • When using a car

    Access method 1:Kanto area(To Tokyo)
    From the annular line Shuto Expressway - from the Shuto Expressway to the Tohoku Expressway towards Tohoku Expressway - Nishinasuno-Shiobara IC ~ Nishinasuno-Shiobara IC ~ R400 Tadami from Aizu Tajima R289 from R121

    Access method 2:Kanto area(Via Niigata)
    Loop Line Shuto Expressway from Kan-Etsu Expressway (to Niigata direction) - Kan-Etsu Expressway - Koide IC ~ Koide IC ~ R252 Yurari from (winter closed to traffic) - Tadami ~ R289
    *The road is closed in winter from December to around Golden Week every year.

    *About 100 cars can be parked in the free parking lot. (There is also a covered parking lot)
    *Niigata between the district - Tagokura Kan-Etsu Expressway Koide IC, Niigata Prefecture Irihirose, R252 is please keep in mind that it becomes winter period closed to traffic.

    ＜To Tokyo＞
    Tohoku Expressway → Approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes from Nishinasuno-Shiobara IC R400 / R121 → Minamiaizu Town → R289 → Tadami Town Yurari / Murayu

    ＜To Niigata＞
    Kan-Etsu Expressway → Approximately 2 hours from Koide IC R252 (not available in winter) → Tadami Town Yurari / Murayu

    ＜Sendai＞
    Ban-Etsu Expressway R252 Expressway → Approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes from Aizubange IC / Tohoku Expressway Koriyama IC → R252 (not available in winter) → Tadami Town Yurari / Murayu

    ＜Tokyo/Sendai＞
    Tohoku Shinkansen → Koriyama Station → Ban-Etsu-Sai (West) Line Yurari Line → Aizu-Wakamatsu Station → Tadami Line → Tadami Station → Shuttle Bus → Yurari/Murayu

    ＜Tokyo/Niigata＞
    Joetsu Shinkansen → Urasa Station → Joetsu Line → Koide Station → Tadami Line → Tadami Station → Shuttle Bus → Yurari/Murayu

    Tobu Line → Yurari Aizu-Tajima Station → Shuttle Bus → Yurari/Murayu
